John Moore is one of Gloucestershire’s most well-known writers writing novels such as ‘A Portrait of Elmbury’ a thinly disguised portrait of Tewkesbury and its most notorious inhabitants. You will also discover the work of the museum, dedicated to this great writer, including its restoration, preservation and conservation of the Museum’s historic buildings and collections.
Kirstie hs worked in the heritage sector for years delivering talks to local history groups and others. She isthe Heritage Manager for the John Moore Museum, which is nestled in a row of historic timber-framed buildings close to the Abbey in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
