Starting on 1 October 2024 we will be changing our arrangements for managing members subscriptions. We are replacing the purchase of memberships in the shop with payment of annual subscriptions via a specialised membership management system.

This will be in two stages:

• From 1 October anyone wishing to join the Society will do so through the new system.
• Existing members will be able to renew their memberships for 2025/26 through the new system in due course

From October to end December existing members need take no action. Access to the member resources on this website will remain available as now.

Why are we making the change?

Using the existing arrangements has proved complex for our volunteers as it depends on software that assumes members will interact with the Society entirely online.

The dedicated management system “Membermojo” is simpler for members to operate (for example you do not need a password) and provides better tools for our Membership Secretary to manage members’ subscriptions and to communicate with groups of members.
