“Family in Print” is the story of a family business and a newspaper dynasty that began, expanded and thrives today in the small Gloucestershire town of Dursley. It is the story that spans a century and a half of great change for the newspaper business. Linking the Bailey Newspaper Group’s humble beginnings in the last century and the high tech 1990s is the hard work, enterprise and industry of four generations.

In the last few years a fifth generation of the Bailey family has taken over the steering wheel. For Baileys, “keeping it in the family” has led to commercial success but family members have had to earn the top positions. The present chairman and his brother have both received the gold accolade for 50 years service, man and boy.
