A Gloucestershire Diarist. The Early Years 1897-1919. Lt. Col. A.B. Lloyd-Baker of Hardwicke Court

Description

The Diary extracts contained in this book take us up to shortly after the end of the First World War and the editor has carefully annotated the entries to shed light on the personalities involved, many of whom will be recognised by name.

It is rare for diaries of this calibre to become available to the public. This book is certain to excite comparisons with The Diary of a Cotswold Parson and other well known and intimate records of our recent history.
