Dating and getting the most out of your old family photos: Steve Gill: Online

14 July @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The Talk

Your old photographs are valuable assets that should be cared for and preserved. But they should also be seen and appreciated. A good quality photo restoration saves the original by creating a new image and giving the new version pride of place. A restoration should be sympathetic to the original and bring it back to life.

The talk will help you understand your old photos and get you thinking about the detail that is held in the images and how to date them by costume, image style and details.

Steve will draw on his two books. The Family Detective is available now at just £12 plus p&p. His  new book, out in May, called Design in Detail, deals with a totally new way of dating photographs.  Available for pre-orders at a special price of £15 plus p&p.

To order either book please email steve@photo-consult.co.uk for details.
