Gloucester Archives have recently introduced a new catalogue and thus a new way to search for information you need. This is in response to comments from users about  problems with the previous catalogue.

You can access the search here. Simply type in a word or phrase to search across the whole of the archive.

The results are shown and to the left of the results page you will see a list with the various categories within which the results can be found. Across the head of the results list you will see various types of record. In each case you can click on these to narrow the search.

The Catalogue covers the Archives collections and some others. You can also arrange to see the documents on a visit. There is more detail on the help page.
