During 31 January we noticed that some emails were not getting through to us. These appear to be from people with a gmail or hotmail account but possibly also some others. If this has happened you should have got an email reply saying that the original email has not been delivered.

We are sorry about this but it appears to be something outside our direct control: our spam defence uses lists of spam email addresses or domains. These are maintained externally and the emails that bounce do show up as spam risks.

We have been monitoring the situation over the last few days and most “proper” email is getting through to us, including from Gmail.
