We are fortunate to have been gifted a lifetime of research on local history by the late Bryan Sysum. It is a huge collection of about 30 volumes now deposited with the Archives until it can be catalogued before being made available to the public.

His skill as a sign writer shows through in the neatness of his work and potential as an artist which would have been his preferred choice
