Registration District Birth, Marriage and Death Indexes (1837-onwards)
In conjunction with the Gloucestershire Registration Service the Society is indexing all of the Registration District registers of births, marriages and deaths.
These indexes are now available online, free of charge.
Gloucestershire Strays Index (1992) &
Supplement (1998)
The Society has almost 20,000 strays records, that is records of Gloucestershire people in other parts of the country or overseas. The fee covers an index search for a single surname (no variants). The results are provided on one A4 printout. All applications must be accompanied by a SAE or an addressed envelope & 2 IRCs.

We are pleased to receive details of Gloucestershire Strays, preferably two copies on 5 x 3 inch slips, but not for the 1881 or 1901 censuses please.
